Firstly, we would like to thank all our guests who booked their 2020 holiday with us who requested an amendment to 2021 or a refund for their patience.

For all of us in the travel industry it has been a challenging time but we want you to be assured that we will do all that we can to make sure that your 2021 booking with us will go as smoothly as is possible.

We understand that there is still a lot of uncertainty around holidays and travelling, However, Butterfly Holidays want you to know you that we will do our best to offer you the best advice and keep you informed with any relevant information or changes.

 We are a small family business and we are striving to offer you a high level of service and for that reason we will look at all bookings made should the same situation of 2020 arise to make sure that refunds if necessary of amendments are made promptly we would like to ensure you that any monies paid to us are 100% protected in our trust account.

Financial protection

If you book a package holiday with us or accommodation only you will be covered under our ATOL. All monies paid to us will go directly into our trust account. This Trust Account is managed by trustees that are members of the Travel Trust Association and therefore is completely protected and is not able to be misused by us.

Changes and amendments to your holiday

If you have booked a holiday including flights and accommodation or accommodation only and they are cancelled due to:

The FCDO advise against travel to Turkey

The borders are closed, or

You are required to quarantine either on your arrival to Turkey or on your return to UK

Then we will offer you an amendment of dates or a cancellation of your holiday.


You must purchase specialist travel insurance policy available which includes specific cover for Covid-19 related issues and incidents which may affect your travel arrangements [and travelling to a destination subject to a FCDO advisory against travel] For the most up to date FCDO advice concerning travel to Turkey, please refer to the government’s website:
